Professional Counselor LPCC

Hello, I'm
Marie

What do you love about therapy?

I love therapy because I genuinely believe that we heal through relationships. There’s something incredibly powerful about being seen, heard, and embraced just as you are—and this is the foundation I desire to cultivate in therapy. I’ve seen how much growth can happen when someone feels safe enough to be truly themselves, even when it’s messy. Being trusted to build this kind of connection and witness someone’s growth and healing in their most vulnerable moments is something I deeply value. I feel so honored to be part of each client’s journey.

What are your specialities?

I specialize in working with adults, children and teens dealing with anxiety, OCD, ADHD, depression, trauma, life transitions, self-esteem and other presenting problems.

What is your therapeutic style?

My therapeutic style is collaborative and grounded in curiosity. I primarily draw from Narrative Therapy and Attachment Theory. I am interested in the stories we carry about ourselves—and how those stories were shaped by our early relationships and life experiences. Together, we’ll look at how those old patterns might still be showing up today, and gently explore ways to reconnect with your values, strengths, and the parts of you that may have been overlooked or silenced. While I mainly work from a narrative and attachment lens, I also incorporate practical tools from CBT when helpful—especially for managing anxiety, unhelpful thought patterns, or emotional overload. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to make sense of your experiences.

What is your self care?

In my spare time, I love playing guitar, going on a hike with a friend or drinking a good cup of coffee. My most ideal self-care evening is an outside dinner with friends playing cards (or Catan). I’ve recently jumped on the sourdough train and am currently obsessed with sourdough cinnamon rolls!

What are your rates?

Individual session: $140

Couples session $160
