Therapy Modalities

NO. 01

Individual Therapy

Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy  explores the different  "parts" within an individual, each with its own perspectives and emotions. By helping clients understand and harmonize these internal parts, IFS aims to achieve a more integrated and harmonious self.

Somatic therapy is a therapeutic approach that focuses on the connection between the mind and body, using physical techniques and awareness of bodily sensations to address and release stored emotions and trauma.

Attachment therapy is a therapeutic approach that focuses on understanding and healing patterns of attachment and relational dynamics formed in early childhood, aiming to improve emotional regulation, interpersonal relationships, and overall psychological well-being.

NO. 02

Trauma Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a technique that uses guided eye movements to help individuals process and integrate distressing memories. It is an extremely powerful and unique form of therapy that helps the brain to re-wire a trauma event and decrease post traumatic stress symptoms. Check out this article from the EMDR institute for a more in depth understanding of this treatment modality.

Abbey and Lauren are both trained in EMDR

Psychodynamic therapy is a therapeutic approach that explores unconscious processes and early childhood to understand and resolve emotional conflicts. This therapy seeks to uncover the root causes of psychological issues and give client capacity to change old patters present day.

Brainspotting is a technique that helps process trauma and emotional distress by locating "brain spots" - specific eye positions linked to trauma memories. By focusing on these eye positions, the therapist helps the client access deep, subconscious processing to release and resolve the trauma.
